What is needed to open a Business Account?

To get started, we typically need your business’s Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Social Security Number (if a sole proprietorship), your Articles of Incorporation or Assumed Name Certificate, and a valid ID for all authorized signers.

How much do I need to open a business membership?

Our Business Savings account requires a $10 minimum balance to establish and maintain your membership with the credit union.

How do I set up Direct Deposit for my employees?

You can easily manage payroll by using our Online Banking tools to push funds to employee accounts, or by providing your SFCU routing and account information to your external payroll provider.

Can I manage my personal and business accounts under one login?

While business and personal accounts are legally separate, our Virtual Branch allows you to toggle between accounts if you are a signer on both, making it easy to see your entire financial picture.

What happens if I lose my business debit card?

Lock your card immediately using the SFCU Mobile App to prevent unauthorized spending. Then, call us at 989-684-1730 during business hours or (800) 472-3272, opt 2 after hours to cancel the card.You will need to reach out to Sunrise to order new card or stop in for instant issue.
